Managed 3 teams of 17 data professionals providing support for Instrument, Entity, Reference, Pricing, Portfolio, Performance & Risk Data service deliverables for Front Office, Operations and Accounts departments. Provision of accurate, consistent, and timely data for, Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives within ADIA’s Data Analytics Platform, Investment, and Vendor systems in managing ‘Data as a Strategic Asset’. Led Operating Model review of the function (people, process, technology) that increased business alignment, enhanced scalability, and enabled new capabilities in supporting changing business demands. Delivered evaluation of ‘Data as a Service’ vendor proposal saving $3.5m in FTE cost benefits, and spearheaded delivery of ‘External Vendor Services’ assessment, in identifying saves of $2m per annum.

Set-up and ran the Data Change Management team successfully, building upon extensive experience in previous data roles in the industry, growing the team from 3 to 7 business analysts in servicing multiple ADIA stakeholders. Led the team in the design and implementation of an end-to-end workflow process in managing data change requests originating from Investment and Support Departments, simplifying the user experience. Business lead for the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) project and instrumental in successful implementation, resulting in significant transformational aspects for the organisation and efficiency gains. Partnered with IT in providing business expertise on Data Migration initiatives, including evaluation of ETL tools, and Data Integration approaches for Business Intelligence reporting and self-service dashboards.

Instrument Data Operations Lead, managing team of Business Analysts and Relationship Managers to support the Strategic Reengineering Program, in Centralising Reference Data within a new purpose-built data platform. Spearheaded the build-out of a new Operations Support Model and successfully implemented the Equities Data strategy for both the Investment Bank and Worldwide Securities Services, across multiple project phases.
