I started my career as system administrator and software developer in early 2000s for the SMBs. I provided cost effective open source solutions and tailor made software for them to solve their problems.

After graduating I worked for an enterprise providing both hardware and software solutions. I led a small team of 5 to support the daily operation at the Asia hub data center of a global bank. I wrote a tailor made inventory management for the team to boost efficiency.

Then I jumped to the game industry, starting as an QA engineer. I also help the backend development and responsible for the cloud service setup and management for the teams. With the team expending, my team grew to 7 people. I also handle the vendor management to get better price and support for the services. 

After that I work for some startups and SMBs including game studio, IoT, translation service and online casino. I help them migrating the infrastructure to cloud, or enhancing the way of using cloud. I also help debugging their backend software.

Finally I joined a crypto exchange as an OG member. First I keep working with the CTO to transform the cloud infrastructure to make it suitable for collaborative development. Then I started hiring devops engineers for my  team and other big teams. It ended up with 30 people in my team, serving about 600 developers across different timezone and cultures. My daily tasks include helping CTO to digest the problem and find out the solutions, discussing with development and security team to build products in the innovative ways with security in mind, and helping the juniors to grow.

Now I'm learning blockchain development skills, and looking for using my devops/leading skills on the web3 industry.
