I’m a backend and systems engineer who enjoys building scalable infrastructure and production systems that are performance-sensitive, reliable, and secure. Most of my strongest work has been around backend architecture, real-time systems, and async processing the kind of engineering where correctness and scalability actually matter.

In my current role, I’ve worked on backend development and platform infrastructure, including Dockerizing the entire system and setting up CI pipelines for automated image builds and deployments. I’ve also worked on improving reliability and downtime by integrating Nginx, cron jobs, databases, and multiple repositories into a clean deployment workflow that can be launched on EC2 with a single command. On the backend side, I optimized heavy data pipelines using Redis queues for asynchronous processing, enabling immediate database writes while running parallel background tasks, and achieved significantly faster handling of large workloads under concurrent load. I also implemented security improvements across APIs through JWT authentication, strong input validation, and safer coding practices.

Outside of work, I’ve built backend-heavy projects that reflect the kind of work I want to do full-time:

• TradeSphere — a trading system with a dedicated API server, matching engine, and WebSocket server. It includes an in-memory order book for bids/asks, market and limit orders, atomic matching, and real-time streaming for trades, orderbook depth, tickers, and candlesticks. It also uses TimescaleDB for time-series storage and recovery mechanisms for durability.
• ZapFlow — an automation platform built with Kafka and a transactional outbox pattern to ensure reliability between the database and event queues. It supports webhook triggers and multi-step actions like email workflows and Solana transfers, designed for real-world integrations and complex event payloads.

I’ve also contributed to open-source projects over the past few years, and I enjoy working in environments where engineers take ownership, ship fast, and build systems that other developers depend on.

Right now, I’m intentionally moving deeper into Web3 and blockchain. I’m looking for backend-focused roles where I can work on protocol integrations, DeFi infrastructure, distributed systems, automation, and production reliability — instead of spending most of my time on UI work. I’m especially interested in teams building core Web3 infrastructure, wallets, trading systems, and developer platforms.
