As a member of the leadership team, I was responsible for building and managing teams providing company blockchain nodes infrastructure (OVH, Nomad, Consul), public cloud applications (NodeJS, Kubernetes, MongoDB) as well as company internal analytics stack (PubSub, Dataflow, BigQuery) and internal IT (security and integration, processes and equipment).

My contribution ranged from hand picking the right engineers for the job, up to coaching them and providing mentorship in order to create an environment of a modern self-managed results oriented squads. Even though I often found myself solving issues alongside my engineers, I considered my role to be mainly providing guardrails and clear goals as well as a mature software delivery framework for our systems delivery while letting my engineers excel at their fields.
