Pi has been my passion ever since I discovered it in the summer of 2019. I have held multiple jobs in the meantime, but they are not that relevant as instead of focusing on my career, I have focused mainly on doing what I love: interacting with different pioneers, collaborating with them on different projects. I’m known for creating helpful and interesting Pi content like websites, articles, videos, liveshows and even Discord and a Facebook pioneer community.

Incorporated my first business, and we were in contract with a major house building firm and insurance firm. I have created every single paperwork from start to finish - from getting the logo, to getting the VAT number to then closing the business later. This gave me a great outlook in a business - I was dealing with marketing to bring in new clients as well as dealing with our suppliers, debtors and creditors as well as the government. Apart from making sure the business is running legally and profitable, I was also the one dealing with customer inquiries and aftersales, booking jobs in for our engineers and making sure they are supplied with the right tools for the job.

The 3rd biggest newspaper agent in the United Kingdom. This workplace has offered a great insight in selling multimedia advertising in newspaper, mobile and online. It was an outbound sales job where tenacity and persistence was a must. On the phone for multiple hours per day, and when not on phone, constantly sending emails and creating artworks for campaigns. We’ve also had multiple objectives each month to reach, such as sales target & regional sales target. Above that we’ve had strict key performance indicators to work within too.

I was working in a local car dealership franchise, helping customers find their ideal new car and their most suitable way to finance their new dream motor. This job took place in an extremely busy and demanding environment where if you don’t sell, you will have to follow up customers, prospect to new customers, update your own diary regularly, chase funding queries from finance companies & complete a handful of paperwork each time you manage to sell. You also have to report to your branch manager and do ad-hoc work from time to time. Creating rapport instantly with new customers on forecourt plus with existing colleges is essential in order to deliver fantastic customer service and a well executed-deal for your customer. Dealing with complaints was also a major part of the job, so keeping cool and level headed was necessary.

Previously, I was working in an extremely busy department, dealing with general billing and customer service queries, where being time efficient, fast paced and motivated is essential to execute good advices and explanations to the customers. It also included a high amount of transfer’s to the relevant department, where explaining the situation accurately is required to move the customers over by following the right process. Tailoring people onto the correct packages according to their needs and giving them personal expertise is also part of the job; as well as resolving complaints on your own and giving customers the right goodwill to compensate, if required. We also earned some bonus vouchers if we successfully regrade a customer to a more expensive package.
