Responsibilities: analytical projects discovery and prioritization; providing analytical support for Avito-wide technical initiatives; conducting hiring interviews; managing a team of 4 analysts; collecting data from production databases, building data marts; visualizing data & developing dashboards; building models to estimate project costs vs utility; developing metrics to measure department performance. Key achievements: Established data analytics function in Tech Platform department. Hired a team of 4 data analysts, onboarded them, set up work process for the team and managed it for 2 years. Reached the analytical function maturity point: for the first time the department annual strategy planning was done keeping metrics in mind.

Investigated driver loyalty program costs and benefits (most of them were indirect and hard to measure), helped to develop the new strategy for it. Implemented a tool for drivers loyalty program modelling and forecasting. Developed a model for drivers support call center, which made support specialists hiring management possible. Conducted 8 long-term AB tests to measure effects of various projects on drivers retention.

Changed the way of doing analytics from using separate one-time data files and poorly documented ad-hoc tasks to building a platform including ETL engine, data marts system and BI tools. This helped to reduce time required for a typical analytical task from days to hours.

Conducted geospatial data analysis for city planning tasks using cell phone operators data. Participated in Moscow region transport model development, for which the team was awarded with Moscow government prize for young scientist in 2016.

Developed plugins for Moodle learning management system.
