Hello, I’m Kwency Norman. 

I was introduced to the world of infographics back in college (1996-2001), and when I graduated, I landed a job as a graphic artist at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, my local newspaper. I was in awe of the work they were doing. I had a lot to learn, so my first couple of assignments were primarily illustrations, daily charts and maps. However, I was quickly given an assignment where I would have to research, report, write and design my first infographic. I produced a full page infographic on the "polution of the Arkansas River". Its been my passion ever since.

My experience at the Gazette eventually led me to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel as a graphics reporter/dsigner. During my time there, I continued to develop and improve my infographic storytelling skills. I created weekly full page infographics called "News Illustrated." I also began creating interactive graphics as well. I would take my static infographics and make them interactive for the online edition. This only enhanced my drive to learn more and find new ways to tell visual stories.

I was in infographic heaven.

After layoffs at the Sun-Sentinel, I started freelancing for 2 years, producing infographics for SEO companies and for Blog sites.

Presently, I work with a Design Agency in Washington, DC., where I continue to improve my design skills, doing infographics and also designing marketing material when needed.

I have learned allot about the Web3 world, Crypto, and blockchain technologey the last few years. And would love to be apart of a Web3 organization and produce amazing infographics!
