lareine
I’ve been a freelance artist in various fields, proficient in flute performance, teaching, concert management, and production within the music industry. However, my passion has transitioned more towards the online realm. As an MBTI ‘I’ personality, I’ve officially authorized myself to pursue my dream in programming and web development, a path I’ve longed for since my days as a music student.
My journey began in 2013 when I moved to the United States, investing most of my savings into a used MacBook Pro. With a background in working at a Flute Magazine & Management company in South Korea, I ventured into graphic design to sustain myself. When musicians in the US approached me for graphic design work, I accepted the challenge, even though I had no prior experience. This decision led me to learn Adobe Photoshop and later Adobe InDesign, earning me my first $200 for a flyer design.
Over the years, I’ve honed my skills and expanded my services, specializing in website design for musicians and artists using platforms like Wordpress, SquareSpace, and Wix. Now, I’m immersing myself in programming languages such as Html/Css, JavaScript, Flutter, React, and Solidity. I’m particularly excited about Solidity and the potential of creating smart contracts.
Despite the challenges, including raising a family with two kids, I remain dedicated to becoming a professional programmer. My ability to balance work and family life, along with my love for the web environment, makes me confident that I can excel in this field. I am committed to delivering exceptional results and am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share my passion and drive.
