- Build cloud architectures and infrastructures for small, medium and large companies, providing guidance and consultancy throughout the duration of the engagement, following best practices for a secure and right-sized cloud environment and picking the right solution for each customer, by reviewing first the resources available in each scenario, such as: Number of employees working on the solution, expected time of delivery, available expenditure per month on resources, required compliance to meet, etc. - Automate CI/CD process, from the beginning of the project until it is deployed in production environments, using different tooling depending on the use case. For example, using Github Actions to deploy to AWS ECS, or using Argo CD + GitHub to deploy to K8s clusters. - Configure monitoring and alerting systems. - Deploy infrastructure as code in different sized companies. Some with one account, and a small number of configurations, and other with AWS Org, with multiple OUs and Accounts, and using a variety of AWS resources, such as (but not limited only to) RDS, S3, CloudFront, ECS Fargate, ECS with EC2, LBs, WAF, DMS, Route 53, Certificate Manager, Glue, QuickSight, Lambda functions. - Produce assessments over existing customer's infrastructures, to identify improvements and attack surfaces, and provide a path and guidance to fix them. - Communicate dillingently with different stakeholders and participate in meetings to inform changes, provide technical presentations and share knowledge on topics to non-technical staff. - Adhere to security best practices, such as Principle of Least Privilege, environment isolation, perform security assessments regularly, use frameworks to check current infrastructure, perform non-destructive assessments, build secure pipelines and test code to deploy secure code, etc.
