For more than two decades, Octavian Lojniță has been building distributed systems, secure infrastructure, and financial technology across multiple technology cycles—from networking and cybersecurity to blockchain, AI, and decentralized finance. Currently, Octavian is the Founder and Chief Architect of Freed Finance, where he is building an AI-native, multichain DeFi platform that unifies portfolio management, intelligent execution, automation, and banking-grade user experience into a single ecosystem. Freed Finance's vision is to make decentralized finance accessible without compromising decentralization, security, or performance.

Previously, he served as Blockchain Lead at World Liberty Financial (WLF), contributing to the architecture and delivery of blockchain infrastructure for one of the industry's highest-profile DeFi initiatives. Before that, he spent years designing secure software systems, fintech infrastructure, distributed applications, and enterprise platforms across multiple industries.
