Mahith

Solidity Developer

I started pursuing my Master of Science in Information Systems from Northeastern University in 2022. The main motivation behind my decision is to learn Blockchain technology. Currently, I am looking for Co-op/Internship positions in WEB 3 Space like Solidity Developer, Blockchain Engineer including Software Engineer.

During my first semester, I studied Application Engineering and Development course which helped me to understand - How important a design is to an application. I have gained an understanding of the importance of good design practices and the power of code to implement business intelligence without the need for complex tools. The way code can harness and leverage human emotions as a driving force for business has also impressed me and has expanded my understanding of the potential of software development. As part of this coursework, I worked on the design and development of an Employee Directory application for HR Managers to perform CRUD Operations. I also worked on the design and development of a Hospital Management System Application involving multiple users to login and perform their respective operations. I Collaborated in a team of three to design an ecosystem to develop a robust and reliable Package Delivery System for B2B and B2C using Java Swing and MySQL. We also used Google Maps API, Email and SMS API for end user convenience while also used Analytics for Business users

I also studied Web Design and User Experience Engineering in my first semester which helped me to learn web technologies like HTML, CSS & SCSS, JavaScript and its libraries like React JS, Node JS, Express, MongoDB, TypeScript, RxJS and Next JS. As part of the coursework, I designed a travel website, a to-do app using React frontend and Node JS, MongoDB for backend. I worked on tools like Visual Studio and postman. Keeping all my learning in play, I collaborated with a team of 4 to design and develop an Expense tracker Application as my Final Project namely Easy track.

During my Semester break, I learnt how to write solidity smart contracts for Ethereum Blockchain Network while also using my web design skills I learnt in my first semester to build decentralized applications. I created a solidity version of to-do app that I worked on during my first semester where I replaced Node JS Backend with Solidity smart contracts deployed in Goerli test Network. I also worked on a NFT Project and designed a marketplace dApp and hosted them on Digital Ocean cloud provider. This has been a great learning for me and from the interest I gained by working on the projects I have done during my fall semester break I felt the need of taking my learning further so, I choose Network Structures & Cloud Computing and Cryptocurrency & Smart Contract Engineering as my courses for my second semester.

I started working on a decentralized NFT Dutch Auction platform utilizing the ERC721 standard, ensuring its security through extensive testing and coverage analysis applying what I have learnt from my class. I started attending various events conducted by NEU Blockchain club at Northeastern University and got to be a part of research team of club in first semester where I learnt a lot from amazing people and worked on a research article on topic of Smart contracts. In my second semester, I got accepted into Tech team of the club where we are currently working on 4 amazing projects.

I recently studied about Zero knowledge proofs and is amazed by the concept and the way it works through zk-SNARK and zk-STARK protocols.
