Data Science Consultancy, a subsidiary of Ascent. Delivered modelling tool for a major UK insurance broker, allowing greater efficiency in the modelling and testing process. Taught a variety of data science and programming courses to clients, ranging from groups of 6 to 65+. Developed sections of Mango’s new framework for data science consultancy projects. Wrote a number of unit tests for the open source statistical programming language R, creating a validated version that is used by several pharmaceutical companies at different stages of analysis.

Data, augmented reality, and industry 4.0 startup. Co-founded a startup delivering AR-enhanced software products, such as an indoor navigation app using geomagnetic positioning and SLAM. Sold an indoor navigation demo to UK hotel chains, enhancing guest navigation using geomagnetic positioning. Produced an end-to-end outdoor AR entertainment app for a UK cricket ground, featuring AR supported navigation.

Danish FinTech startup specializing in FX and payment solutions. Built an automatic data mining tool, expanding the magnitude of their collection of international FX pricing by a factor of five. This removed the need for any manual labour in the process, further speeding it up. Automated their business intelligence analysis, previously taking multiple hours per month. I had a large amount of freedom in doing this, but it required me to understand the business operations in order to deliver a satisfactory product.

British multinational low-cost airline. Went through internal Python, machine learning, and SQL trainings. Worked on an SQL based project, a competitor pricing analysis project in Python, and an airport slot assignment data mining tool, also in Python.
