I'm a banking operations and payments executive with over 20 years of experience in global transaction banking, most recently as Vice President and Head of Outward Payments & TBO at First Abu Dhabi Bank. I lead multi-country teams across the full payment lifecycle — SWIFT MT/MX and GPI tracking, ISO 20022 migration, FX and settlement, Nostro/Vostro reconciliation, and cross-border payment investigations — and I own the risk governance and AML/compliance frameworks that keep those flows safe and audit-ready.

Over the past few years I've led several transformation initiatives, including the bank's first AI-driven operational solution (a 50% efficiency gain), workflow redesigns that improved fraud prevention and straight-through-processing rates, and the post-merger integration of payment operations across two banking entities. I've also built hands-on familiarity with CBDC, stablecoins, tokenization, and agentic AI through recent training and pilots, and I'm genuinely energized by how these technologies are reshaping payment rails.

I'm not a blockchain developer or protocol engineer — my background is deep in traditional banking infrastructure, compliance, and operations — but I bring exactly the kind of regulatory, AML, and payments-rail expertise that Web3 companies need as they connect to the traditional financial system. I'm looking for senior leadership roles (Head of / VP / Director level) at the intersection of banking, payments infrastructure, and digital assets — for example, Head of Banking & Payments, Payments/Banking Operations Lead, or Compliance & Risk leadership at a crypto exchange, payment gateway, stablecoin issuer, or fintech bridging traditional finance and Web3. I'm particularly drawn to roles involving banking partner onboarding, payment rail integration, regulatory/AML compliance, and operational risk management — the areas where my 20+ years in transaction banking translate most directly.
