Web3 Finance & Compliance | Digital Asset Accounting | KYC/AML 

I’m a digital asset accountant who runs the finance and compliance function for blockchain foundations end to end, from on-chain transactions through to month-end close and regulatory reporting. 

As Senior Digital Asset Accountant with Autonomous projects and a US-based firm Camuso CPA, I manage full-cycle accounting, treasury and compliance across several Cayman-domiciled foundations, including Rari, Blueshift, Theoriq/ChainML and Eclipse. My work covers: 

• KYC/AML compliance and transparency reporting across multi-jurisdiction foundation structures (Cayman and BVI)
• Multi-chain treasury operations across Ethereum and Arbitrum multisigs, including custody workflows through Anchorage
• Token accounting, including SAFT liabilities, deferred token obligations, and complex token market-making and loan agreements with embedded options
• Month-end close, covering accruals, prepaid amortisation, supplier reconciliations and DAO bookkeeping
• Tooling with Cryptio, QuickBooks Online, Dokka, Dakota and blockchain explorers

Before Web3, I built a strong grounding in South African tax and commercial accounting.
 
I’m automation-first by default. I use AI tooling and agent workflows to take repetitive work out of finance operations, so the time goes into judgement, controls and reporting. I’m currently pursuing CIMA to deepen my corporate finance leadership skills.
 
What I’m looking for: a Web3 finance or KYC/compliance role at a foundation, protocol, exchange or crypto-native company. I want to own treasury, compliance and reporting processes, and I’m happy working remotely across time zones from Cape Town.
