Hi, I’m Nikolaos Pazaras. I serve as a full-stack software engineer at Tradias, a fintech startup where I’ve been pushing the boundaries of financial technology for the past 2 years. Our stack at Tradias includes Python microservices, asyncio for asynchronous operations, web sockets for real-time data exchange, and gRPC with protobufs for efficient communication. My database management skills encompass both SQL and NoSQL systems, with a special emphasis on Redis for caching, message brokering, and pub-sub operations.

Before joining Tradias, I co-founded fortigomou.gr, a unique platform where users could list items they wanted to move, allowing transporters to provide quotes. This initiative, which I spearheaded as a CTO, was built on .NET Core for backend operations and Angular for the frontend.

During my tenure at Agiltech S.A., I contributed to two separate systems: a water management system and a crisis management system. Both were developed using a mix of React, Node, Java, and .NET. Additionally, I was instrumental in the digital evolution of diaforetiko.gr, leading its transition from a custom-built platform to WordPress.

In addition to my hands-on software engineering roles, I possess a master’s degree in data science and am actively pursuing a Ph.D. in AI in obstetrics.

I firmly advocate Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, and have a robust understanding of tools like Jira, and Azure DevOps. When I’m not engrossed in coding or tech-related activities, I indulge in travel, photography, culinary pursuits, and skiing.
