Senior Engineer/Team Leader/Tech Leader

Hello!

I'm a software engineer with about 10 years of experience, mostly building web and mobile apps around real-time data, financial interfaces, and blockchain. I'm looking for a company where that experience would actually be useful β€” somewhere I can make a real impact, ideally on a product that matters to real people, not just something built to ride a market cycle.

Most recently I built an AI Terminal at Synth β€” a chat feature backed by the Claude SDK, with streaming, tool use, and sandboxed code execution, plus a billing system I built myself. It's live with around 1,000 monthly users, and I also cut the assistant's token costs by 30% after noticing it was wasting context on every request. Before that, at Mode Network, I built a trading platform that's now processed over $50M in volume, including wallet login across EVM and Solana.

Outside of work, I built and shipped Saga, an iOS app that tells history through short audio stories, completely solo β€” architecture, development, subscriptions, the whole App Store release. I also built Tickwhy on my own, a tool that explains why a stock or index moved using an AI agent (LangGraph + Claude) that breaks the move down into market, sector, and company-specific parts and cites its sources. Both were good practice in owning a product end to end, not just a piece of one.

A pattern across most of this: I end up owning things fully, not just building the piece I'm handed. I make the architecture calls myself, fix things nobody asked me to fix if I notice they're wrong, and take it seriously when the thing I'm building touches real money or real compliance rules. I've also led a small team (four engineers, at Capgemini) and done technical interviews.

What I want now is somewhere that actually wants that kind of ownership β€” a real product, used by real people, where the work means something beyond chasing the next funding round. Happy to talk more if it sounds like a fit.
