Customer Service Expert

I am a multi-passionate multi-hyphenate looking to pivot into Web3 in a customer/client facing role while I work on gaining software/programming/ expertise.

About me: I have worked at a college bookstore, for an independent artist manager, stylist assistant, seamstress, pattern-maker.

I've worked for small companies, larger corporations, founded a streetwear brand, and freelanced.

While my experience is varied, it has taught me to define my strengths and weaknesses with work and know which is my lane to stay in.

I am excellent in customer service, user experience, and operations.  I also have a tremendous amount of empathy and patience and can communicate effectively to guide the client towards a successful resolution.

The best example of this is my time at the Fulton County Registrations and Elections where I worked in the call center during the 2020 Presidential race and the Senate runoff in January 2021.

You remember that election?  The one where a new Post Master General was appointed earlier that year and absentee ballot deliveries were messed up for tens of thousands of people (in my county).  The one that had people from all over the nation calling in and showing up?  I was on the phones with supporter and detractors alike and I maintained my cool and educated and guided the constituents to satisfactory conclusions.

One person called me an Angel.

Another said I restored his faith in Democracy.

Along with that, I'm always curious about how and why things are done how they are and offer efficient solutions to streamline processes/information.

This came from my needing to do this for my streetwear brand.  Once we grew beyond the founders, the need for SOP was glaring and I took it upon myself to create departments, positions, and relevant SOPs.  I also trained and updated as needed.

This skill was also useful in my role at the Fulton County Emergency Rental assistance program.  It was a brand new department developed for COVID relief.  While the goal was to adjudicate as many cases as possible, I saw flaws in flow, information, training, UX, software, etc and ended up creating the internal SOP for our staff of 40+.  When it was evident that we needed a contractor to assist with the volume of applicants, I created the training deck, ran the initial instruction, and my SOP was utilized by the firm.

I can communicate clearly and effectively in professional and Legal settings and love to see improvement, growth, and evolution.

My dream would be to enter the WEB3 space.  I'm old enough to remember the introduction of so many tech advancements.  I have always been an advocate for the underdog, the disruptive.  Despite the bull and bear of crypto, I know this is just the beginning and I want in on the ground floor.

I am going through the courses on Buildspace but don't want to wait to get into the Web3 space and I know my customer service and operations experience is valuable and transferable.

Can't wait to work with you!
