Owned the test automation strategy and built the framework from scratch as the only automation engineer on the team - Python, Pytest and Playwright on a Page Object Model architecture. Automated the cloud and API side of the product in full, leaving manual effort only for investigating failed runs. Validated the web interface down to the visual layer, including fonts and interface colours, alongside functional user flows. Integrated Allure reporting with step-level logs, debug data and screenshots on failure, so a failed run could be diagnosed from the report instead of a local re-run. Wired the suites into Azure CI/CD pipelines and put them on a daily schedule, so every morning started with a fresh regression report.

Developed and maintained Playwright + JavaScript automation with Cucumber BDD, keeping scenarios readable for non-engineers. Tested backend APIs daily with Postman and Swagger - endpoint verification, payload and contract validation. Wrote SQL queries in PGAdmin for backend data verification and database integrity checks. Converted manual regression cases into automated scenarios together with the manual QA team, extending coverage of the core user flows. Managed deployment and test-environment resources in Red Hat OpenShift, keeping a stable environment available for suite runs.

Developed, maintained and refactored Python/unittest suites running against physical TV devices. Cut total suite execution time by ~30% by reworking the existing automated pipelines. Set up and maintained a physical automation lab environment to support client project demands. Ran root-cause analysis on device failures directly with US-based client engineers and proposed feature and coverage improvements. Used WebSocket device communication, regex log parsing and Linux tooling for diagnostics.

Ran functional, non-functional, performance and regression cycles for device and application releases. Took part in official certification processes with Google, Apple, Amazon and Netflix. Authored test cases and bug reports and analysed requirements in Jira, Confluence and TestRail.
