Middle Cyber Security
My name is Mark Zaryadyev, and I am a cybersecurity engineer with a background in both security and software development.
My interest in cybersecurity started long before my professional career. While I was still in school, I participated in competitive programming contests, which sparked my interest in computer science and problem solving. Later, I earned a degree in Information Security, where I studied networking, operating systems, secure software development, and both offensive and defensive security.
I started my career in 2023 as a cybersecurity engineer. My work included monitoring and analyzing network traffic, maintaining firewalls, securing infrastructure, responding to security incidents, and supporting production environments.
In 2024, I transitioned into a more development-focused role, where I built internal services and improved infrastructure. Along the way, I expanded my experience with backend development, infrastructure automation, reverse proxies, and Linux administration. I also developed internal security tools, automated routine tasks, and helped identify and fix vulnerabilities before they reached production.
I primarily work with C#, Go, Python, Bash, and PowerShell. My experience also includes Docker, Nginx, Redis, REST APIs, reverse proxy configuration, infrastructure automation, and Git. On the security side, I have worked with network security, infrastructure hardening, traffic analysis, firewall management, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, secure software development, web application security, and the OWASP Top 10. I regularly use tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, tcpdump, OpenSSL, SSH, Docker, and JWT-based authentication.
What interests me most about this opportunity is the chance to work in Web3. I enjoy solving technical problems where security and engineering go hand in hand, and I'm looking for a role where I can continue growing while contributing to systems that require both solid development skills and a security-focused approach.
