The company builds a testing environment for dapps. I maintained the Phoenix engine, a cluster of multiple test nodes running in parallel. My responsibilities included architecture planning, implementation of the test node logic and API, working on the node versioning model (a git-like branching history for test blockchains), and performing various optimizations (classical BE ones like database tuning as well as algorithmic ones). Contributed to the rust-analyzer project, a Rust compiler front-end for IDEs. I was improving how rust-analyzer determines the surrounding code context for IDE assists, preventing generation of invalid Rust code in numerous cases not tackled previously. As a member of the Identity and Access Management team, I was primarily in charge of authentication and authorization mechanisms. Among other things, I implemented new permission model (allowing one user to access multiple accounts with different roles, to invite new users into accounts, etc.), introduced long-lived access tokens to simplify product integration (only short-living JWTs had been used previously), detected and fixed numerous vulnerabilities. A couple of times I acted as a feature owner, i.e. a temporary lead of a group of people working on a major feature. The company was developing solutions for smartstores. I designed and implemented from scratch pattern recognition software (SIFT-based) for identifying goods on shelves and then integrated it into the larger infrastructure. [C++, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, algorithms, system design]

Development of excel-like spreadsheets. I started as a QA engineer, but soon switched to software development.
