Experience

Senior Go Engineer, Team Lead
testly.com
2019 - 2021
At testly.com, I was working on session tracking software(like hotjar.com) designed to manage and analyze user interactions efficiently under conditions of high network traffic. As a Team Leader guiding two backend and two frontend developers, my role involved communicating directly with the CEO to gather specifications, conducting research, and managing the team. I was responsible for both leading and actively contributing to the development of the frontend and backend aspects of our projects. Designed and implemented horizontally scalable solutions to handle extensive data volumes and high user concurrency, ensuring real-time data processing and system reliability. Developed session recordings microservice that featured efficient data offloading to Google Cloud Storage from the database after a specified period. This approach enhanced cost-effectiveness in storing recorded data. Additionally, the microservice was designed to manage high traffic volumes by utilizing Kafka as a message broker
Go Developer
voomly.com
2017 - 2019
At voomly.com, an online video hosting platform that lets users embed videos on any site and create courses from these videos, I was instrumental in enhancing the platform’s functionality and user experience. Developed REST API for virtual file system with role based user access. Developed the video transcoding pipeline, utilizing AWS SQS and AWS Transcoder. This pipeline was instrumental in converting videos into various formats, ensuring compatibility and optimal playback across different devices and bandwidth conditions.
