Directed financial strategy for a remote Web3 startup with $6.5M in VC funding. Created the business case and budget plan, optimizing cash flow with multi-currency management and crypto investments. Established financial infrastructure and processes, overseeing daily operations of the company (16 FTE), directly managing one employee, and coordinating external service providers (accounting, legal, etc.). Managed investor relations, providing monthly updates to our VCs and angel investors, including Stride, HV Capital, and Balaji Srinivasan. Led a restructuring initiative, extending runway by 6 months and achieving key cost optimizations. Supported Seed fundraising, including term structuring, cap table management, and share option plan. Collaborated with the founders (CEO & CTO) on strategy and supporting key decision-making.

Led TX Venture’s early-stage FinTech investments, with a focus on the DACH region. Invested in neon’s Series A (CHF 5M) and B rounds (CHF 7M) rounds as lead investor, helping neon become Switzerland’s most successful neobank with 200k+ customers. Sourced additional investment deals and successfully pitched two of them (CHF 5M) to the investment committee, managing the full investment process. Screened 700+ startups for TX’s dealflow, coordinating 10 due diligence projects, developing financial models, and serving as a board observer for Selma Finance and Monito.
