Hi, I'm Renier. 

I'm a senior software engineer who has been working in consulting for a little over five years. 

I've worked on numerous interesting projects, including:

•TLS setup and optimization using Bash scripts and Ansible Playbooks. 

•Various awesome feature developments for South Africas biggest rewards platform. Most of this has made use of Java and Spring

I'm currently in a small team at one of Africas biggest banks, where we're connecting various business units together via cloud. 

In my free time I'm nearing the completion of a M.Eng degree, which has focused on developing a blockchain consensus algorithm testing platform. Specifically to test consensus algorithms for use in the Citizens Broadband Radio Service. 

I'm keen to find a role in the Web3 space, as I believe that blockchain has the potential to fundamentally change how people and businesses exchange data, and how we connect with the internet going forward.
