Distinguished Full Stack Engineer
Richard Wayne is a founder, systems engineer, and published author who builds autonomous intelligence systems, production-grade Web3 infrastructure, and physical-world systems from scratch.
He is the CEO and CTO of Nuro Finance, an agentic bank where you talk to your Visa card and its bonded AI agent executes real actions on your money, truthfully, across 23 chains with no human pressing the button. He co-founded Memetropolis as CTO, a LayerZero V2 cross-chain launchpad live across 7 EVM chains on roughly $300,000 in capital, 810 commits of production-grade protocol engineering, and some of the most battle-tested OApp and OFT patterns shipping today. At Omni-X, as COO and co-founder, he shipped the first-ever ONFT: the original omnichain NFT standard, built the operational and DevOps infrastructure from scratch, hired and managed the full engineering team, and grew the X presence from zero to 80,000 followers.
His firsts are not marketing. First omnichain NFT standard. First Solana-to-EVM CCTP route via bridge-kit, solving the remote-domain problem the public SDK still drops. AI agents that move real money under a truth contract. When there is no pattern to follow, he engineers the pattern and ships it to production.
Richard's ability to build extends beyond software. He approaches physical and digital systems with the same methodology: start from first principles, understand the load the system will carry at scale, and build for what happens at 100,000 users, not just what works in the demo. He teaches machines how to learn by building the intelligence layer around them, not just fine-tuning what already exists. His personal AI neural net has compounded 18 months of architectural decisions, production incidents, and deployed patterns into a live system that gets more capable every session.
His intellectual work runs on the same engine. Richard is a published author with more than 50 publications on two subjects: conscious mass as a physically describable system, and war as a physically describable system. Both treat phenomena that most people handle abstractly and reduce them to measurable, structural terms. It is the same instinct he brings to every system he builds, digital or physical: if it exists, it has structure, and structure can be engineered.
He graduated from Rutgers, Summa Cum Laude. He is self-taught in every technical discipline he operates in and considers that an asset, not a gap. He takes products from idea to market, scales them, and operates them in production. He is currently open to a small number of senior contract and fractional engagements in autonomous AI systems and cross-chain DeFi infrastructure.
