Simplified API and new token generation which made integration with our service simpler for partners. Optimized performance of a proxy microservice which receives large POST requests (about 5 GB per request), processes them and passes them to the main service by using streaming approach, which resulted in 90%+ less memory usage.

Created educational projects using Lucene and Solr as search engines with custom analyzers, token filters and indexes.

Onboarded several developers as their direct manager and played a key role in leading engineers of various levels. Mentored a Java intern for 4 months, leading to their successful attainment of a junior position offer. Developed a new DSL to generate the system's responses and implemented it across the entire system. This resulted in clearer architecture, reduced number of bugs in production and simplified development. Created separate wiremock for the team as well as cloud infrastructure and ci-cd pipeline for its deployment. Forked opensource wiremock repository and added new features. This resulted in more flexibility in system tests.

Implemented a number of integrations with external services which allowed automation of decision making about payments in some scenarios.
