Hi, hope you're doing well ;)
A decade of working in the IT industry has put me through all stages of my career, from junior support role and “your friendly neighbourhood sales guy” to “Head” and “C-level” positions. I’ve done it all: managed live chats, tickets, and phone calls, stayed overnight to host a product presentation for a client from another time zone, and closed the biggest deals in the company’s history. Worked in a team, gathered, and managed my own team, and worked in start-ups, where you have to wear multiple hats at the same time. I believe that my past experience of selling complex solutions in pretty chaotic environments, would be a great asset for any position.
I've always wanted to help others and leave something greater behind me than just closed deals in five and six-figure numbers and a list of key accounts. I want to help people solve and overcome their obstacles and stumbling stones and help find a solution. Build a trustworthy and honest relationship with clients and a team, move forward, and evolve together as a united well-oiled machine. This is one of the reasons I constantly get engaged in volunteer work as well in my free time.
Hard work, dedication, and self-education are the basis of a successful career, and I use it as my motto. It's recently became popular to say, “work smarter, not harder”, but I think it’s better to work both smart and hard. Hard work is not necessarily exhausting and tiring if you work with the team that you like at the job that you love. I’m a very curious person by nature, I like to research stuff, ask questions, learn something new, and feed my brain with new information (getting a Ph.D. in public management and administration is part of this curiosity), and as a result, become a better professional and person overall.
