Highly motivated, results-oriented professional with over 8 years of active software engineering experience in the field, possessing business analysis skills to determine customized, effective solutions to meet stated goals and objectives.

Started out my journey in 2014 with PHP (CodeIgnirer, Yii) building blogs and simple low-traffic applications at an SMS aggregator company. I moved on to a healthcare startup in 2015 where I started working with Azure cloud, and picked an interest in building customer-centric technology, which brought me to specialise in Data analytics and Business Intelligence with Microsoft Power BI. 

2 years later, I founded a software consulting company in Uganda with the goal of being the leader in the region for delivering high-quality software products. Over the next 5 years, I worked with my team on various projects in EduTech, Aviation and mostly Healthcare. I picked up proficiency in various skills; including project management, distributed monitoring, ci/cd, integration and unit testing. I also worked extensively with.NET, spring boot kotlin/java with maven/gradle, laravel, kubernetes, rabbitmq, MySQL, postgres, docker, minio and various aws services. I learned to architect and build microservices with the resilience to survive changing business needs within certain conceptual boundaries the chaos of the cloud. I learned to adopt agile methodologies to satisfy the fast-paced delivery requirements of fast-moving clients and markets. Our clients were from Europe, North America and Asia.

In 2022, I left my company, upon a journey of self discovery. In that time, I worked with a New-York based Gaming & e-Sports company to build a bleeding-edge sports trading platform for both traders and bookmakers. And here, I stayed until i left end of March 2023. 

I'm excited about technology and recognise the impact that well-built technology can have on people's lives. I'm customer-centric and not afraid to learn new things if it can improve the output of myself or my team. I'm looking to work with like-minded individuals, together with who we will push the pinnacle beyond the status quo, and build awesome technology together.
