I've been in QA for 13+ years, manual testing first, then automation, performance testing, and team management along the way. I like breaking things more than building them, so QA ended up being the right fit early on.
My most recent work has been QA for a Web3 platform issuing digital collectibles on the ERC-721 standard, basically the sole QA across web and mobile there. I built an end-to-end automation framework using Synpress for wallet authentication flows, around 300 automated tests running on a schedule, and extended coverage to token minting across multiple L2 networks including Chiliz, Solana, Base, and ApeChain. I also worked on a curation role reviewing submitted assets for validity and authenticity, and automated part of that review process using AI.
Before Web3 I spent most of my time in fintech and payments QA, so I'm used to testing things where mistakes actually cost money, which carries over well to blockchain work.
Right now I'm looking for remote QA work in Web3 or crypto, manual, automation, or both. Comfortable as the sole QA on a team or leading one. If I don't have an answer yet, I'll say so instead of going quiet, still digging is a normal part of how I work.

Trained 14-16 manual QA engineers in coding fundamentals, Git, and the automation framework so they could write and maintain their own scripts. Got regression testing time down over 90% as the automation suite matured. Designed the testing strategy for a migration to AWS, including serverless testing on Lambda using Newman and JMeter. Also produced executive-level reports on funnel conversions, A/B testing, and payment blockers, and ran production bug triage.

Worked with 2 other QA engineers to form an automation squad, helping pick the framework and stack and building a regression suite that grew to around 2,000 automated test cases across 8-10 products. Designed and built an API testing framework using BDD. Trained the whole QA team on end-to-end test case design using Protractor.js, and ran training sessions for business analysts on writing Gherkin syntax so they could contribute test scenarios directly. Also did load and volume testing across AWS database services (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora) and built load/performance test plans using JMeter.
