Sergeant In The British Army
I am a highly motivated and disciplined professional with 12 years of experience in the British Army, serving with the Royal Engineers and attaining the rank of Sergeant. Throughout my military career, I completed multiple operational deployments, led and managed high-performing teams, and played a key role in training and mentoring the next generation of soldiers.
Since transitioning from full-time service, I have continued to apply my analytical and investigative skills as a volunteer Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Specialist with the Countering Anti-Human Trafficking Centre (CAHTC). In this role, I identify and attribute illicit online activity linked to human trafficking, escalating findings for further investigation by senior analysts.
In addition to my OSINT work, I am currently being mentored by Adebayo Tiamiyu, Head of Investigations at Tether, in blockchain investigations. This intensive eight-week programme covers typologies including cross-chaining, mixing services, ransomware, and transaction tracing through to exchanges. My final project will involve tracing activity beyond a mixing service, demonstrating practical application of blockchain investigative techniques.
My qualifications include:
Chainalysis Reactor Certification (CRC)
CCAS training (ACAMS)
Level 6 Diploma in Applied Finance (LIBF)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
Certified Compliance Professional in Cryptocurrency Financial Crime
101E IRT – Using the Internet as an Investigative Research Tool (Toddington International)
Introduction to SQL
Notabene Travel Rule Fundamentals Certification
I am now actively seeking a position as a Blockchain Analyst, Data Analyst, or AML Analyst/Investigator, ideally within the cryptocurrency or financial technology sector. I am particularly interested in remote roles but am also open to hybrid opportunities within the UK.
