I am a doctoral student and my research focuses on blockchain security, cryptoeconomics, and distributed systems. I have designed algorithms for Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) mitigation, wash trading detection, preventing Oracle Manipulation attacks, and developed a risk scoring framework for DeFi ecosystems. These projects have provided me with experience in quantitative research, protocol design, formal verification, incentive design, and threat modeling.

Designing a loss-bounded block construction protocol to mitigate predatory Maximal Extractable Value (MEV). Main contributions include quantifying preventable user losses and sensitivity analysis for optimal safety thresholds. Designing a cross-exchange wash trading detection system and a novel heuristic for address clustering. Optimizing parameters for time windows and graph clustering. Proposed a risk scoring framework for critical infrastructure of DeFi. Main contributions include formalizing the threat model and statistical analysis for real-world incidents. Developed SecPLF, an algorithm to secure Protocols for Loanable Funds from oracle manipulation attacks. Formalized threat models and provided statistical analysis for validation. Reviewer for IEEE TRel, IEEE TDSC, and ACISP (2022).

Co-developed Tiramisu, a framework for layered consensus protocols over blockchains, addressing scalability and composability. Designed ASHWAChain, a fast committee-based blockchain consensus protocol resistant to adversarial manipulation. Made a prototype implementation using Go and Python. Contributed to theoretical formulation, simulations, and system-level benchmarking of proposed protocols. Authored technical reports and documentation.
