At Nike, I contributed to the Digital Marketing Transformation track by developing and maintaining features in the Global Omni-Channel Product Platform — Nike’s central system for managing product data across all digital and physical commerce experiences worldwide. Designed and implemented RESTful APIs to empower the Ops team to manage global Size & Fit rules within Nike’s new Omni-Channel Product Platform, replacing legacy manual processes. Resolved production issues under tight SLAs, preventing potential revenue loss across global Nike marketplaces. Developed from scratch an ETL Java-based Spark application responsible for fetching and transforming around 800k Oracle records into over 18 million Snowflake records, used for product data quality checks and validations. Wrote and executed comprehensive integration tests to validate functionality and cross-service compatibility. Upgraded 15 AWS Lambda Functions from NodeJS v12 to v20 and the aws-sdk lib usage on each project. Produced technical documentation, API definitions and operational runbooks, contributing to cross-team knowledge sharing and onboarding. Interviewed candidates for a backend engineering role, providing technical assessments and feedback to the manager.

Optimized sales completion flows reducing the average time by 3.5 seconds. Built and led the development of a Spring Boot application using Java 17 and Spring WebFlux to replace an underperforming Node.js BFF, achieving a 2-second average reduction in critical flow latency. Developed real-time sales recording and metrics generation in Elasticsearch, enabling data-driven insights. Implemented error tracking strategies, reducing production troubleshooting time by 2 hours. Established feature flag strategy for new version rollouts, achieving zero rollbacks in 2023. Led a team of 10 developers in deploying over 140 releases since March 2022, encompassing business needs, strategic improvements aligned with the architecture team, and critical bug fixes.

As an outsourcing Backend Software Engineer at Agibank project, I played a critical role in the core credit cards systems, serving a growing customer base of over 3.5 million across more than 800 outlets at the time. Developed a cloud based Java 11 + Spring Boot application from scratch, crucially enabling the institution's compliance with Open Banking regulations in Brazil by exposing open data to the government. Engineered the processing of interbank payment files making use of Kafka streams, reducing reconciliation process time by 40% and enhancing data accuracy. Increased unit test coverage to at least 90% for around 15 microservices my team was responsible for. Performed improvements in these 15 microservices in order to achieve a Level A rating for bugs and vulnerabilities based on Sonarqube analyses.
