Hold design and information gathering workshops with the customer to understand the existing network design and technical requirements. Understand the customer’s organizational structure and become familiar with the network implementation, support processes and procedures. Troubleshoot equipment and network problems. Produce a written summary report of the status of equipment and network problems on a regular basis to the customer. Hold technology workshops with the customer to discuss equipment and network problems, provide case status updates, including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions that are being tried. Train the customer’s design, implementation and support personnel to configure and operate various networks and cyber security products and solutions. Assist the customer to develop Network Operating and Equipment Operating Procedures. Develop secondary skills in other products in the SE360 product portfolio.

Support the full program cycle across JRS initiatives, including operations, activities, budgeting, and sub-committee/volunteer coordination. Assist in preparing programme updates, reports, and impact measurement documentation. Coordinate tasks among refugee interns and guide peers when needed. Contribute to communications content (reports, newsletters, fundraising materials, website, etc.). Oversee digital programmes and help maintain schedules across all initiatives. Represent and convey perspectives from the refugee community. Any other tasks assigned.

Administer pre-course qualification tests to assess foundational knowledge in networking or IT. Conduct interviews with prospective students to determine course suitability, learning objectives, and readiness for the Cisco curriculum. Provide recommendations for preparatory material or alternative learning paths when necessary. Manage virtual classes of diverse learners, ensuring high levels of engagement and participation. Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment. Monitor student attendance, progress, and behavior, taking action when necessary to ensure successful outcomes. Use learning management systems (LMS) or Cisco NetAcad tools to track and report student performance. Deliver Cisco-certified courses (Cisco CCNA 200-301, IT Essentials andNetwork Essentials) using official Networking Academy curriculum and resources. Conduct live virtual classes through platforms such as Webex and Zoom, incorporating visual aids, labs, and interactive discussion. Guide students through hands-on labs (Packet Tracers or physical labs), assignments, quizzes, and projects. Adapt instructional techniques to suit varying levels of student experience and learning styles. Assist students with registering and booking their Cisco certification exams through the Pearson VUE platform. Provide guidance on exam prerequisites, scheduling, and retake policies. Offer exam preparation support, including review sessions, practice tests, and individual coaching. Maintain accurate records of student exam attempts and certification outcomes. Output/ Impact achieved more than 80% pass rate for CCNA refugee Students.
