I am a data engineer with 3 years experience in data and analytics, spanning scala,python and SQL. I have experience in large data projects (on prem and cloud based) working under agile principles, gathering requirements, building data pipelines and leading teams. I have also worked extensively with cloud platforms like Azure (DP203 certified) and Google cloud platform. I have evidenced skills in ETL, coding best practises, test-driven development (Unit tests/integration tests), CI/CD (Heroku/github actions) along with industry-standard repositories (github). I have a portfolio of projects I’ve built using scala,python (langchain) and azure that has allowed me to demonstrate that I am an accomplished self learner. I have completed over 100 hours of training in my personal time that has allowed me to develop sufficient knowledge in building back end APIs(FAST api, python), Large language model applications (Langchain,hugging faces) and evidence foundational knowledge in machine learning and AI. Finally my 3 years in consulting has allowed me to evidence excellent communiction skills, project management and an ability to learn fast.
