I like making things go fast, and I like big numbers. Luckily, I work with big data & real-time applications -- a perfect fit for those two traits. 

At my current job at Polygon.io, I improved throughput of our WebSocket stream by 20x, and I implemented options pricing models that are used by the business to serve quantitative measures (“Greeks”) to our users en masse and in real-time. I also wrote an application that ingests up to 10 million messages/sec in real-time.
