- Co-founded Purch and built a conversational AI shopping assistant from scratch — users chat naturally to discover products and check out with crypto (USDC), shipped end-to-end to production (app.purch.xyz / api.purch.xyz) - Architected the agent layer on the OpenAI Agents SDK: multiple specialized agents (conversational shopping, stateless gift-finder, public shop API) sharing a common tool set for product search, detail lookup, and recommendations - Built dual-catalog product search across Amazon (SearchAPI.io) and a global Shopify catalog (MCP), running multiple search variations in parallel for better coverage - Designed a non-custodial crypto checkout: backend prepares an unsigned Solana transaction via Crossmint, the user's embedded wallet signs and broadcasts client-side, and the backend never touches a private key - Made payment settlement reliable with confirm-then-reconcile polling and backoff, eliminating orders stuck between on-chain payment and processor confirmation - Built a three-tier guardrail system (fast keyword filter → moderation → LLM topic classifier) running in parallel to keep the agent on-topic and safe - Shipped real-time SSE streaming, multimodal features (image-based outfit building + AI image generation), PGP-encrypted shipping addresses, and a public API for third-party shopping integrations - Owned the full stack: Bun + Hono backend with Drizzle ORM / PostgreSQL, and a Next.js 16 / React 19 frontend with React Query + Zustand
