Responsibilities substantially overlapped with the DevOps Engineer role at Figment (see below); refer to that role for additional details. Launched blockchain node deployments and upgrades to AWS using Ansible and Kubernetes. Moved the Datadog monitoring & alerting stack into Terraform, automating their creation and improving alert coverage. Built a Slack bot that tracks GitHub and Discord announcements, and creates relevant Linear tickets.

Automated compiling, running, and monitoring of blockchain node and validator binaries on Linux using Ansible and Terraform. Created and debugged Linux operational components including Bash scripts, systemd services, networking, and filesystems. Monitored chain uptime with Datadog and PagerDuty, troubleshooting lagging block height, failed signing, slow sync, and low peer count incidents. Coordinated upgrades, critical fixes, and performance troubleshooting with external blockchain teams via Slack and Discord.

Maintained and improved company‐wide CI/CD built on Concourse and ArgoCD, supporting 600+ services across 11 Kubernetes clusters on AWS and GCP. Maintained and developed microservices and automation scripts using various languages and tools. Developed Python templating to migrate Helm‐based deployments to a GitOps architecture. Created and updated Terraform modules for AWS/GCP infrastructure and internal systems including GitHub, Concourse, Docker, and Artifactory repositories. Provided real‐time CI/CD guidance across four international offices, including 24/7 incident response via PagerDuty rotation.
