Freelance Marketer

Hi, I’m Brandon Lee — a multidisciplinary marketer, content creator, and entrepreneur based in Singapore with over 15 years of experience across digital marketing, tech startups, recruitment, ecommerce, and community building.


Right now, I work as a freelance marketer, helping local businesses grow their visibility and leads through a mix of strategic branding, content production, and performance marketing. I’ve created websites, run Meta ads, built webinar funnels, and produced scroll-stopping video content for clients across industries from fengshui masters to crypto card startups, from Xiao Hong Shu trainers to interior designers and wellness brands.


Previously, I was the Head of Marketing and Community Growth at Excelerate SG, where I led event marketing, digital campaigns, and government partnerships across the F&B sector. I also helped build community-driven growth initiatives in collaboration with agencies like Workforce Singapore, NTUC, and HPB.


Before that, I spent a wild and productive year in the web3 world as Marketing Manager at Sleep Future, a “sleep-to-earn” startup I helped take from zero to 110,000+ followers. I oversaw viral video campaigns, built an international Discord and Telegram community, launched token sales, and managed a successful mobile app release with over 300K signups on Day 1. We raised $2M in under 6 months. It was fast, messy, and taught me everything about building hype, community, and a digital-first brand from scratch.


My journey started way before Web3, though. I co-founded OpenRecruiters, ran a digital marketing agency helping over 1000 SMEs, and created my own fashion label, Wetteeshirt, which was featured in Straits Times, VulcanPost, and Lianhe Zaobao. I grew it into a multi-channel brand available at major outlets like Takashimaya and Isetan, before exiting and moving into new creative ventures.


Across all this, one thing remains constant: I build things, I market things, and I help other people bring their visions to life.


I’m particularly drawn to underdog brands, the small businesses, niche creators, and bold founders trying to carve out space in an oversaturated world. Whether it’s redesigning a clunky website, scripting a webinar pitch that converts, or shooting video content that makes people stop scrolling, I bring both the technical know-how and creative firepower to make it happen.


Right now, I’m looking for freelance or full-time marketing gigs, creative consulting roles, or partnerships with founders and businesses who need a marketing Swiss Army knife, someone who can think strategically, execute fast, and handle everything from ads to content to conversion. Spearheaded a web3 company: Sleep Future and pioneered the “sleep-to-earn” concept. Created the whole ecosystem which combines offline and online utility. Hired and managed a team of designers, marketers, community managers and volunteer moderators. Identifying new partnership opportunities in the web3 space. Negotiating terms for CEX listing and marketing. Crafted and executed viral marketing techniques that made Sleep Future appeared on all major social medias for free: TikTok, YouTube, and twitter and gained over 3M views organically. Held online and offline events regarding sleep and crypto. Successfully attracted 110K+ followers for twitter, Telegram and Discord at its peak. Nurtured and managed web3 community on Discord and Telegram and with biggest market being Japan, China, Russia and Vietnam. Engaged in KOL’s AMAs on Facebook, Telegram and Twitter spaces. Launched sleepee mobile app which had 300K user registrations on day 1. Launched crypto token: SLEEPEE listed in Bitmart, Bitforex and XT. Launched a token staking platform to the token holders to incentivize them to HODL. Successfully raised $2M within six months from token and NFT sales. Managed the marketing for the group’s mattress business – MySleep. Created viral video marketing campaigns for TikTok and YouTube. Executed sales campaigns on Shopee, and Lazada. Helped company expanded from 3 outlets to 18 outlets in Singapore and Malaysia.
