Refactoring multiple microservices to optimize architecture and performance. Implementing job queues in Kafka using an event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub), improving asynchronous communication between microservices and enhancing system scalability. Tech stack included Kafka, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, and deployment on Kubernetes / EKS, AWS.

I led the migration of legacy .NET services to Django, establishing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and standardizing development workflows across QA, STG, and PRD environments. This transition replaced unversioned PowerShell scripts with modern technologies. Although the project was canceled, my current role focuses on optimizing bottlenecks within various microservices. Tech stack includes PostgreSQL, Docker and deployment on GCP using Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager.

Responsibilities included the development and optimization of legacy Flask microservices, addressing database issues and bottlenecks and implementing unit tests with Pytest, optimizing PostgreSQL and MongoDB queries. Tech stack included SQLAlchemy, MongoEngine, AWS / EC2.

As the technical lead within the core team of 8 engineers, part of my role was to optimize the performance of a Django platform by designing a message queue to distribute the workload using RabbitMQ and Kombu as workers to decouple a bunch of http microservices. Also was focused on defining technologies for a ReactJS library/SDK integration with Chekin's public API to manage customer booking processes. Tech stack included DRF, Pytest, PostgreSQL, Docker, Github Actions, Datadog and deployment on Kubernetes / EKS, AWS.

Full stack software development with a primary focus on Python. As the main developer and designer, I led the creation of a payment processor utilizing FastAPI and other python techs like Celery. managed the successful migration of a Django microservice from Python 2 to Python 3, implemented Pytest for unit testing, and optimized development workflows with GitlabCI. I also contributed to the development of internal dashboards using ReactJS and maintaining legacy web applications with AngularJS/Angular2. Tech stack included PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Docker, and deployment on Kubernetes / EKS, AWS.

In my role, I developed and optimized web applications, implemented testing strategies, and managed diverse environments using modern tools. My expertise spans Python, Django, Pytest, Celery, MySQL, Docker and jQuery, Backbone for frontend, with proficiency in Fabric and Bitbucket Pipelines for server management.

At Systrix, my role was dynamic, evolving from a fullstack developer assisting with an online casino search engine to a more backend-focused position. Responsibilities included designing and developing database models, creating REST APIs, and driving code quality reviews. The tech stack included Python, Django, Erlang (ChicagoBoss) and Mnesia for the backend, and AngularJS for the frontend.

I began my journey as a junior developer, where I embarked on diverse responsibilities, contributing to the development and maintenance of the Student Information System. During this formative period, I played a pivotal role in migrating databases between various legacy applications to Django, gaining invaluable experience and laying the foundation as software developer.
