Developed a strategy to transition the Hedera source code to an independently governed open source foundation. Successfully launched the Hiero project under the Linux Foundation, positioning Hedera as the first public blockchain to donate its entire codebase to an open source foundation. Led developer engagement initiatives designed to attract Web2, Web3, enterprise, and retail dapp developers. Qualified and negotiated a host foundation for the project, utilizing my personal reputation to overcome initial skepticism about the project. Secured 300% of target funding for the initiative through ecosystem partners. Built a highly qualified team, developed a technical charter, and created branding, messaging, and GTM plans.

Exceeded targets in 34 of 36 quarters by significantly increasing the number of global enterprise engagements and providing strategic guidance on open source adoption. Built and led strategic consulting, brand differentiation, and client advisory activities focused on open source strategic consulting, governance, and cybersecurity. Created a distinct open-source brand that differentiated Wipro in the global IT consulting market. Engaged with key foundations such as the Open Source Software Security Foundation (OpenSSF), FINOS, CNCF, and LF Networking significantly increased Wipro's visibility in the open source ecosystem.

In January 2011, I sold Olliance Group to Black Duck Software. Within Black Duck, Olliance operated as an independent business unit offering our strategy and governance consulting services. We also continued to host the Open Source Think Tank for two years. Our IP management services were paired with Black Duck's solutions to offer an end-to-end open source governance and compliance offering.

In 2001, I founded Olliance Group with other industry veterans to provide strategy and governance consulting to companies leveraging open source. Olliance was the first firm to offer clients open source strategy, licensing, IP, and compliance services. Olliance worked with dozens of startups, many of the most prominent technology OEMs and ISVs, government agencies, and enterprises. We helped develop some of the first business and product models to commercialize open source.
