Python Developer

Data Analyst

My name is Wei Chen, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at the National University of Singapore. With a strong academic foundation in Management Information Systems from National Chengchi University and hands-on experience in analytics and AI, I am passionate about leveraging data-driven insights and machine learning to solve real-world business problems.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have consistently sought opportunities to bridge the gap between technology and business. At HTC Corporation, I worked as a Planning, Analytics, and Projects Intern, where I automated HR reporting processes using Excel VBA and Power BI, significantly reducing operational costs. This experience sharpened my ability to apply analytical tools in real corporate settings.
Driven by curiosity and innovation, I have led several impactful projects. I designed an AI-powered recipe recommendation chatbot using Hugging Face models and Firebase, and I developed a cryptocurrency portfolio management system integrating LLMs and technical indicators to optimize returns. My graduation project—an edge AI system for the visually impaired—was especially meaningful, as it empowered over 40 individuals through voice-assisted object recognition.
I am proficient in Python, R, Java, SQL, and cloud tools such as AWS and Docker, and have experience with frameworks like PyTorch, Transformers, and Apache Spark. Whether it’s building LLM agents, deploying web applications, or analyzing customer behavior with data, I enjoy turning ideas into impactful solutions.
As I seek a full-time opportunity starts from September 2025, I am excited to join a dynamic team where I can contribute my skills in AI, analytics, and software development, while continuing to grow as a data-driven problem solver.
