Liam R. Davis, CPA, is a dynamic and accomplished professional, entrepreneur, and community leader. Born in Nassau to Helen and Stewart Davis, Liam was raised in a multicultural home, with a Bahamian father and Irish mother. This unique upbringing exposed him to various cultures from an early age, fostering a global perspective. He attended Temple Christian Primary School and later St. Augustine’s College, Malahide Community School in Dublin, Ireland, and St. Anne’s School, rounding off his high school education. An active participant in extracurricular activities, Liam excelled in the debate team, swim team, and soccer team, with his time as a member of the all-male debate team.

Liam’s hard work and determination earned him a full academic scholarship to Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was the class Valedictorian and earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. While at Morehouse, he sought out professional opportunities during his summer breaks, including roles as a math instructor, investment banking intern on Wall Street, and management consultant for multi-billion-dollar entities. He furthered his education with a Master’s in Accounting from Wake Forest University’s School of Business in 2017 and subsequently earned his CPA designation.

Liam began his professional career with Deloitte Consulting LLP, working with large-scale multinational entities. After two years, he returned home to Nassau, where he worked on high-profile engagements, including the Baha Mar restructuring exercises. His career took him to the Cayman Islands, where he worked as a Senior Associate in Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice. Despite the rewarding challenges, he was drawn to lead the Davis Family Office, a family office focused real estate management and investment company, where he managed a multimillion dollar real estate portfolio which he grew exponentially.

Liam also serves as the CEO of his own retail store and accounting services firm, Optimum Limited, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and client relations. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his involvement in various ventures, including a maritime company offering leisure boating charters and vessel management services throughout The Bahamas, as well as co-founding a boutique lifestyle retail store.

Beyond his professional and entrepreneurial endeavors, Liam enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a self-proclaimed beach-bum, often found near the water on weekends. His commitment to his community is reflected in his willingness to assist others, always open to lending a helping hand.
