Led a team of 6 developers to create a fintech application on behalf of a start up in Kenya. Conducted Sprints where we followed strict adherence to the SDLC utilising an Agile approach. Developed backend in Java Spring Boot that can handle 1000+ connections at the same time. Developed a cross-platform desktop applications for Web, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux using Electron / Capacitor / React. Architected PostgreSQL data model for user authentication, customer transactions, and user due diligence. Developed a Know-Your-Customer process through third-party integration and fraud detection systems. Integrated APIs with CurrencyCloud to handle customer financial transactions and currency exchanges.

Designed and developed an ESG Dashboard using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling customers to assess environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in their M&A strategy. Ensured a responsive and user-friendly interface for seamless data interaction. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop AI and delivery strategies, as well as automation solutions to test client-facing applications. Developed API endpoints for seamless real-time data retrieval. Maintained documentation outlining potential use cases, ensuring efficient adoption by stakeholders. Developed an image recognition tool to facilitate scraping data for compliance and performance analysis and integrate the data with AutoGPT. Ran technical workshops and delivered presentations and hands-on sessions to educate stakeholders on innovative tools, best practices, and emerging technologies.
