Dev Ops (Former Full Stack Engineer)

I’m an ambitious and curious person who believes that anything is possible with the right mindset and enough effort.

I began my career as a backend developer at an outsourcing company, but a mix of opportunity and curiosity quickly took me further, from backend to full-stack, and eventually into DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

Today, I enjoy designing scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud architectures, writing clean Infrastructure as Code, and constantly learning how to make systems better and more efficient.

Experience

DevOps & Full Stack Engineer
Human Passport (Previously Gitcoin Passport)
2023 - 2025
Initially brought on as a freelance DevOps Consultant to assess and refactor cloud infrastructure for Human Passport, a decentralized identity crypto project, I transitioned into a full-time role as full stack engineer. My work focused on improving scalability, security, cost-efficiency, and developer workflows while maintaining high system reliability in a Web3 environment. Key Contributions: - Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Audited and re-architected AWS infrastructure using Pulumi. Resulting in a more clear infrastructure, easier to maintain & updated. Also providing a consistency between provisioned environments - Scalability, Reliability & Cost Optimisation: Led a full region-to region migration with minimal downtime which helped reduce regional traffic costs & improved the network security. Migrated relevant services from ECS to AWS Lambda, increasing elasticity during traffic spikes and reducing costs. - Security: Implemented the principle of least privilege across AWS, restrict network access, and introduced automated WAF custom rules to protect against malicious traffic; preventing the application to become unresponsive or scale out causing costs due to malicious traffic. - Monitoring & Incident Management: Enhanced observability through logging, metrics, and alerting. Enabling the engineering team to easily spot issues in production (that require manual intervention), recently introduced bugs or bad integrations. Also participated in on-call rotations and led incident response. - CI/CD: Refactored GitHub Actions pipelines to use modular and reusable workflows to allow faster and secure deployments. Enabling engineering team to easily, fast and safely release a hot fix to production if required, while also preventing bad / human mistake releases. - Feature Development: contributed to product development, handling both API and UI tasks. Tech Stack: AWS, Pulumi (JavaScript & Python), Python, Django, React, GitHub Actions
DevOps Engineer
SHE Group
2022 - 2024
Contributed to the design and implementation of a cloud-agnostic Kubernetes platform (initially on AWS), empowering development teams and improving infrastructure reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Played a key role in enabling a smooth migration from ECS to Kubernetes, standardizing deployment practices, and aligning infrastructure with the security compliance. Key Contributions: - Standardised and Automated Infrastructure: Provisioned reproducible Kubernetes clusters for dev, UAT, and production using Terraform and workspaces, ensuring consistency trough all environments. - Improved Developer Autonomy: Deployed and configured Devtron to give developers real-time visibility and control over application deployments, reducing reliance on the DevOps team while maintaining security and compliance standards. - Streamlined Application Deployment: Developed reusable Helm charts to simplify and standardize application rollout, reducing onboarding time for new services and minimising human error in production releases. - Facilitated ECS to Kubernetes Migration: Closely collaborated with development team to support the transition to Kubernetes. - Enhanced Reliability and Reduced Bugs: Ensured all infrastructure was defined as code, allowing for version-controlled, auditable, and fully reproducible environments, which also represented a first approach to a disaster recovery plan. Tech Stack: Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, ECS, EKS, Docker, Devtron, Terraform
DevOps Engineer
RebelDot
2021 - 2022
DevOps engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a fully automated AWS infrastructure using Terraform. Established scalable and consistent environments to support a fast-moving development team, ensuring reliable deployments, reduced lead times, and high system availability. Key Contributions: - End-to-End Infrastructure Ownership: Architected and implemented the entire AWS infrastructure using Terraform, enabling reproducible and version-controlled environments across dev, UAT, and production. - Enabled Scalable Development Workflows: Introduced dynamic environments to allow parallel feature development and testing, significantly reducing integration bottlenecks and QA delays. - CI/CD: Deployed and configured Jenkins to support automated build, test, and deploy pipelines, increasing release velocity and reducing manual deployment errors. - Improved Reliability and Compliance: Ensured all infrastructure was managed as code, allowing for better change tracking, auditability, and reduced risk of misconfiguration in production. - Collaborated Across Teams: Worked closely with developers and product leads to align infrastructure design with evolving application needs and business priorities. Tech Stack: AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, CloudFront, Route53, DynamoDB, EC2), Terraform, Jenkins, Linux
Full Stack Engineer
Q_Perior (now Wavestone)
2016 - 2021
Contributed to multiple cross-industry projects, transitioning from full-stack development to DevOps engineering. Key Projects & Responsibilities: Data scientists platform (DevOps focused): a platform designed for data scientists to support them in development and deployment of different applications. - Part of the DevOps team responsible for enhancing platform stability and performance. - Supported data scientists in deploying applications to OpenShift (Docker/Kubernetes). - Designed and developed a self-service Slack bot to provision development sandboxes, reducing manual effort. - Tech Stack: AWS, RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Python E-commerce platform (Full-Stack focus) : a collection of online, cloud-based personalisation system, for documents (business cards, invitations, calendars etc) - Implemented and maintained end-to-end features for the platform - Engineered backend logic for PDF file manipulation and integrated Google Sheets API for dynamic content sourcing - Tech Stack: Python, Django, Django REST Framework, MySQL, MongoDB, JavaScript, React, Flux, Snap.svg Manufacturing Execution System (Front-End Focus): a customer specific Manufacturing Execution System composed by several SAP Fiori based applications with the scope of optimising the entire production process. - Contributed to the development of SAP Fiori-based applications to optimize manufacturing workflows. - Ensured feature clarity by actively engaging with clients. - Mentored junior developers and maintained code quality throughout project phases. - Tech Stack: SAP UI5, SAP Fiori
