Engaging with the community with talks, videos, online tutorials and content on a daily basis. Managed and owned Elastic Dev Day 2019 (the project for annual developer community conference). Delivered keynote speech (rated top 1 talk based on 100+ post-event survey) along with 16 talks (3 tracks). Presided the conference by cooperating with 5 internal cross-functional teams and external event vendors for 7 weeks totally (it only took⅓ of the lead time as the previous event). Attracted 542 attendees, 669 registrations, and increased engagement by 50+% the previous year. Managing the elastic developer community, increased Elastic meetup (12), and 3rd-party conference (10) times in 2019 by 180+% YoY, by setting up monthly 1:1 meetings with organizers in tier-1 cities and submitting 15+ CFP to 3rd-party events. Embraced and experimented with new media, designed and implemented a development program for Bilibili, attracting 2,000+ followers within three months by producing and uploading videos regularly and streaming live monthly virtual meetups. Spoken for all kinds of 3rd party events, including sponsorship and co-hosting. Working from cfp to the ending for every talk.

As a DevOps SME, supporting DevOps projects for Great China, visiting Telco customer and cloud partners, teaching them product knowledge.

Became a thought leader of configuration automation solutions as recognized Top SA Awards 2015 by the participant and educating my customer how to use developer mindset to solve ops problem. Helped the sales team win CNPC’s 3-year subscription deal($2+M) by using consultative communication skills to facilitate a series of product workshops to become a trusted advisor.

Lead a SE team helping and commuting with the North China sales team to become the fast-growing business unit YoY by redesigning 3 solution selling toolkits for the internal team and external partner engineers, increasing the deal win rate by 40%.

Won and managed the biggest CCB CMDB project whose deal size is over $1M and beat other 4 competitors (IBM, CA, HP, Ultrapower) by developing customized interfaces to integrate with CCB’s legacy systems and to position solution value at the highest level. Awarded ‘Get it Done of the year 2010’ by flexibly switching multiple roles (project manager, solution architect, and consultant) while battling in several projects.

Built China support team from scratch, starting from recruiting engineers to on-job training 8 teammates.
