Design Director
A systems and UX design lead specializing in progression, economies, and live-service frameworks for large-scale games and Web3 worlds. I’ve spent the last decade designing for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, Seedworld, and Fortnite UEFN, focusing on player psychology, data-driven iteration, and scalable engagement loops.
After running my own studio, I made a deliberate decision to step down as CEO so I could return to hands-on design leadership inside an established team. I’m not looking to start another company — I’m looking to build long-term as a Lead or Senior Designer contributing directly to product vision, systems design, and team mentorship.
In Web3, I led systems and UX for Seedworld, helping achieve 95 percent community adoption and over 1M dollars in NFT sales through sustainable economy design and clear onboarding.

Led the design of core gameplay, user experience, progression, and economy systems for an original midcore F2P title, driving the project from concept to published release with validated player engagement results. Designed and executed A/B tests on progression pacing, UX and reward loops, improving day-7 retention by 18% and strengthening mastery and replayability curves. Designed and shipped published Fortnite UEFN content, meeting Epic’s internal production standards and reinforcing onboarding, goal-setting, and early mastery design principles. Partnered across design, analytics, and engineering teams to refine live systems through data-informed iteration, optimizing engagement and player satisfaction. Mentored and upskilled three junior designers, establishing documentation, feedback, and iteration frameworks adopted across the studio. Company Shutdown due to bankruptcy.

Led the design, UX Design, and balancing of new progression systems, live events, and characters for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, driving a 15% increase in player retention and 12% lift in engagement metrics across update cycles. Designed and implemented Guild systems and PvP mechanics that expanded average session time and strengthened community-based retention among top-tier players. Applied player data and A/B testing to refine economy pacing, FTUE, user journey, event rewards, and difficulty curves, improving retention and overall gameplay consistency. Balanced 50+ playable characters and ability kits, refining pacing, progression, and difficulty based on live player data and community insights.
