A. I am Post-Graduate in Commerce from Mumbai University (Specializing in Accountancy and Economics), A.C.S. (Chartered Secretary qualified from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner from ACFE), CAIIB (Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist).

I have around 23+ years of experience; presently employed, since Jun 2022 in Binance as South Asia Head – Compliance & MLRO and in past I was Head of Compliance/MLRO – India & South Asia, previously, employed in CoinDCX as a Director – Compliance handling Regulatory & Financial Crime Compliance (Oct 2021 to Jun 2022). 

During the period from Jan 2016 to Oct 2021, I was employed in Credit Suisse Securities India Private Limited as Assistant Vice President – Financial Crime Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, responsible for the AML Investigations/Transaction Surveillance as well as driving and executing projects on FCC projects as well as handling BAU activities, such as Compliance & Regulatory affairs such as AML, Client Identification, FATCA & AEI, liaising with regulators i.e., RBI and SEBI, etc.

Since Nov 2012 to Jan 2016, I was Head of Financial Crime Compliance in Standard Chartered Securities of India Limited designated as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and handled AML/KyC, Sanctions Compliance, Customer Due Diligence CDD Advisory for Institutional, Private and Retail Clients, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Fraud Investigations, Data-Leakage prevention & investigations and Speak-up/Whistle-blowing Investigations). 

During the period from Sep 2011 to Nov 2012, was employed in Axis Bank Ltd as AVP - Fraud Investigations handled end-to-end fraud investigations.
 
From Dec 2006 to Sep 2011, was employed in NCDEX as AVP - handled Investigations, Surveillance and Audit and also handled Compliance.

I have started my Career from NSE (as Senior Executive Officer - Investigations) during the period from June 2002 to Dec 2006
