Worked on multiple backend initiatives improving Paxful’s fintech and compliance systems. Among other projects, implemented mobile number verification with scam intelligence checks, a dynamic Bitcoin on-chain fee calculator, and a smart user geolocation lookup service. Integrated energy rental functionality on the Tron network and enhanced KYC integrations to strengthen transaction monitoring. Also introduced cashback rewards for gift card trades and other user incentivemechanisms that improved platform engagement.

Upgraded integration schemes with delivery services. Implemented a delivery gateway service, migrating it from the monolith. Developed a delivery methods library with translation support for multiple languages.

Led a team of 10 people (analytics, developers, DevOps, QA), built and applied the SCRUM methodology, implemented and enforced code quality standards (workflow, PSR12, Codecov). Developed and executed a roadmap for architecture refactoring and a new microservices scheme, created tasks to eliminate bottlenecks, and established a workflow with support lines to meet SLA. Implemented CI: added code checkers, optimized the build process, and introduced a release policy. Results: streamlined and transparent team workflow, reduced time to market for implemented features from months to days.

The system's dashboards were built using Datadog with Prometheus scrapers. PHP was migrated to a new version, a code sniffer was added, and bugs in the client verification flow were fixed.
