Build admin panels based on Laravel Backpack to organize business processes. API Integration with payment processors, debt collection agencies, SMS Gateway and Infrastructure providers. Execute large database (100M+ rows) migrations using GH-OST. Setup and maintain AWS infrastructure such as: EC2, RDS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3. Developing in-depth monitoring to keep track of business and IT KPIs using Grafana. Rewrite latency sensitive lookup service in Golang.

Sentia offers managed hosting with a focus on high availability and security for medium to large customers with business critical applications. Here, I mostly focus on CentralPoint, the leading IT provider in the Benelux region with over 120M euro turnover, and the team’s biggest customer. In general, my duties consist of: customer support, requirement implementation, deployments, monitoring, incident troubleshooting, being part of the 24/7 standby pool.

Basically Lambda@Edge for PHP, targeted at non technical users in the online marketing field. Built with PHP Laravel Spark for the customer interface, Filestash for S3 file manager, GCP GLB for load balancing, OpenResty with a replicated Redis instance to dynamically manage vhosts at the edge and forward traffic to the respective customer’s backend running on docker container.

Automate infrastructure configuration/deployment for existing and upcoming projects using Chef. Migrate the biggest game portal in NL (spele.nl) to AWS and implement self service deployments.

API Integration in PHP with mobile carrier billing platforms for high traffic projects. Tools for several departments inside the company, namely Finance and Media buying. Setup and maintain server infrastructure in AWS and Vultr. Automate configuration of servers, first with bash scripts, later moving to Ansible. Setup server monitoring using Munin, later moving to Prometheus/Grafana/mtail. Setup log aggregation platform based on the Elastic Stack. Implement SQLProxy to reduce connection overhead on the database server.
