Invented and led ecosystem adoption of a new NFT standard for Nervos Network L1 blockchain developers to integrate data into their digital assets, turning them into composable and updatable assets. Created the Celebrity Smackdown video game, which showcases the technology by connecting NFTs to celebrity tweets which impacted gameplay. Grew social media and discord to 1,000 members and generated $37k in monthly NFT sales. Scaled and managed a remote team of 20 engineers, product managers, and marketers with an annual budget of $1m; Worked daily with third party contractors to increase output and reach multiple milestones including NFT standard documentation and multi channel marketing campaigns. Led the roadmapping, UI/UX, tokenomics, and go to market efforts for music NFT marketplace Frequency which was planned to be preinstalled on 1bn cellphones on Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo networks

Led pivot of company from gaming hardware products to play to earn infrastructure services after overseas manufacturers were shut down during the pandemic. Received several acquisition offers. Successfully recruited and managed a distributed team, fostering a strong company culture amid remote work. Formulated and executed grassroots and paid advertising strategies, resulting in consistent +60% month-over-month growth of discord bot downloads. Incorporated user feedback and application data to lead product development and achieve a 40% user retention rate. Leveraged Xbox integrated messaging platform to reach beachhead market users cheaply. Reached out to 5k leads and got a 13% conversion rate for under $1k. Created product and company roadmap. Created Vanimals, a digital collectible that allowed players to buy and breed digital pets on mobile. Created hardware products to accompany the application where users could interact with their Vanimals in 4D hologram form. Designed and led the engineering of a private permissioned blockchain network built on Fabric to run a distributed video game network; grew a community across 70 universities and organizations to work on applications atop the network. Founding member of Onward Labs, the blockchain investment arm of Human Ventures where I served as Chief Innovation Officer; oversaw the new venture creation process and led technical due diligence on all incoming deal flow

Co-created Cryptopets, one of the first blockchain-based video games played by over 1,000 users. Created the Coinscore methodology to rate and assess crypto assets. Scaled the methodology to encompass 400 data points that were applied to 1,167 tokens. Grew user base from 0 to 10,000 MAU over the lifetime of the product.
