Senior Software Engineer
Nori Carbon Removal Marketplace
2024 - 2024
Designed and deployed a novel multi-contract onchain carbon removal registry and marketplace on Ethereum (Polygon PoS) using Solidity, Foundry, OpenZeppelin, Hardhat, Slither, Typechain. Incorporated ERC standards (ERC20, 721, 1155, AccessControl, Multicall etc.) for ecosystem composability and inherited OZ dependencies including their framework for upgradeable contracts. Managed communication and remediation in multiple smart contract audits (Macro). Integrated with third party ecosystem tools: OZ Defender for sentinel monitoring, Fireblocks for enterprise secret management. Developed web3 frontends including wallet integrations for contract calls, token vesting/unlock dashboard, administrative token minting UI (React, Relay, Web3React, WalletConnect). Solved complex blockchain challenges: high asynchronicity, delayed transaction settlement, cross-platform data integrity, race conditions such as nonce consumption and transaction sequencing, decimal precision math, custom encoding schemas, token wrapping and lockup schedules, access control, gas optimization, permits and onchain signature verification, etc. Cooperated with a small team of 4-6 engineers in full stack development of a web application (Typescript/React/GraphQL/Google Cloud). Boosted development productivity with AI tools (GitHub Copilot, LLM interfaces), and refined core development skills (git/GitHub, linters, testing, CI). Implemented quantitative software and data ingestion pipelines for carbon sequestration modeling (collaboration with in-house carbon scientists and third-party modeling APIs). Authored business/technical design documents, diagrams, code/API documentation, and original educational presentations.

Software Engineer
Ripple
2020 - 2021
Implemented and maintained an open-source Software Developer Kit for building on the XRP Ledger in three languages: Typescript, Java, and Swift. Harnessed Google’s Protocol Buffers and gRPC stack to create language-agnostic infrastructure. Connected disparate data formats through serialization and encoding shims. Contributed to core libraries used for binary serialization and cryptographic signing.
Graduate Research Fellow
University of Oregon
2018 - 2019
Performed original research in the enterprise blockchain space and completed a master’s thesis. Analyzed the performance of a novel consensus algorithm, Proof-of-Elapsed-Time (PoET). Simulated multi-node blockchain networks using the Hyperledger Sawtooth framework and Docker-Compose. Visualized data with Python Pandas and Matplotlib libraries.
Graduate Teaching Fellow
University of Oregon
2017 - 2019
Awarded 'Best Graduate Teaching Fellow' by the Computer Science Department in the 2017 academic year. Served as the primary instructor for Introduction to Programming during Summer 2018 and Summer 2019. Designed original schedule, assignments, lectures and exams. Served as a Teaching Assistant for Computer Science I and II (150+ students per course) delivering weekly lab lectures.
